8 STD Wheels

There are two standards: 8 Standard (STD) and 12 Standard (STD). The numbers 8 and 12 refer to the diameter of the axle used, meaning either 8 mm or 12 mm.

Why a 12 mm axle? A larger diameter means a stronger and more robust system. The 12 STD system is primarily about wheels, but to ensure compatibility, forks and decks must also be designed to fit this system.

Most wheels are only compatible with an 8 mm axle. In this subcategory, you will find wheels of all sizes—100 mm, 110 mm, 115 mm, 120 mm, and 125 mm—that are compatible with an 8 mm axle.

Wheels also come in different widths. When selecting wheels, please pay attention to this detail and make sure that the chosen wheel width is compatible with your fork and deck.
