Peg-cut Decks
This category includes all decks with a peg-cut shape, meaning the deck has a slanted, cut-off end. This is the primary criterion used to classify decks into either the street or park subcategory.
However, things aren’t always that simple - not all peg-cut decks are strictly park decks. For example, a peg-cut deck with a length of 570 mm might be primarily used in a skatepark by a rider who is 170 cm tall, but the same deck could also be used for street riding.
Many decks have a clear classification as either park or street, but for some, the distinction isn’t so obvious. That’s why we stick to clear shape-based criteria - Box-end and Peg-cut. The Street and Park labels are more of a secondary guide.
When choosing a deck, pay attention to wheel width. Wheels come in different widths, so make sure the width you choose is compatible with your deck.
