What is your favorite trick?
That changes often, but in the long run, I like tricks that combine technical difficulty with good style. If I had to pick one, it would probably be a bri flip. It’s a trick that I enjoy doing, and it looks good on almost any obstacle.
Who is your favorite rider?
I have always admired riders who push the boundaries of the sport and bring something new to the table. If I had to mention one name, it would definitely be Ryan Williams. I love his creativity, his approach to riding, and his ability to come up with tricks that others consider impossible. He inspires me not only on the scooter but in the way he approaches action sports in general and constantly seeks out new challenges.
What is your favorite skatepark?
I like skateparks that offer plenty of space for creativity and large obstacles. Among my favorite places are skateparks in France, where freestyle scootering has a strong community and there is always a great atmosphere for riding and progression.
If you couldn't ride a scooter, what sport would you do?
I probably wouldn't have such a difficult decision to make, as I'm already involved in other sports besides scootering. I really enjoy mountain biking, where I enjoy technical trails and jumps, as well as freestyle riding on a Talaria electric dirt bike. That's exactly where I can try out new tricks and push my limits, much like on a scooter. If I had to choose just one alternative, it would probably be MTB or freestyle on the bike.
What is the first thing you do after landing a trick you've been working on for a long time?
First, I take a deep breath because there are usually a lot of attempts and failures behind it. And then I usually start thinking immediately about what the next challenge will be.
What advice would you give to riders who are just starting out with freestyle scootering?
Be patient, ride as much as possible, and above all, enjoy it. Progress doesn't happen overnight, but if you truly enjoy riding, the results will come in time. The most important thing is not to give up after your first setbacks and to find joy in every small step forward.
