Y Handlebars
The letter Y refers to the shape of the handlebars. By dividing handlebars into Y and T bars, we intentionally avoid the inaccurate classification of so-called street and park handlebars, where T-bars are automatically considered street bars and Y-bars are considered park bars. That is not the case, however. It is the size of the handlebars, rather than their shape, that determines the predominant style of use, i.e., street or park handlebars.
In terms of durability, Y-bars will always be stronger than T-bars, regardless of the material used.
